My husband & I were happy with the overall atmosphere of the place and the great location overlooking the Place des Vosges, although our table was a tiny corner one, but ça va and we were equally quite happy with our waiter who served us kindly - and he had a nice sense of humour too.
My cutlets were fine, not exceptional but fine, and the Charlotte au Chocolat was average. However, the Boeuf Bourguignon that my husband ordered was a huge disappointment since the beef chunks were full of gristle (elastin) and chewable rather than edible! It was even more so since we had another boeuf bourguignon a few days earlier in another eatery and the comparison was sadly not similar!
And as an afterthought, we both also considered the bill too steep - 96 Euros for a meal that did not feel exceptional. But c'est la vie, and so we thank you anyway.
